Piracy Bounty Program

Eng Authority works hard to ensure that our students are equipped with the essential skills and latest trends of product management, which is why we give you lifetime access to the courses you pay for including any future course updates and additions. However, we strongly value integrity and honesty, and ask that you respect the enormous amount of time and work that went into the courses not just by Eng Authority but by over a dozen instructors who helped make this course on top of their normal jobs. As such, this bounty program is meant to reward those who respect the company and uphold our values while punishing individuals that abuse their privileges by sharing or selling logins, redistributing content, and selling bootleg course copies.

Program Overview

We are offering a $1,000 USD reward for anyone who accurately reports users who violate our terms of service regarding piracy (see below). To claim this reward, you must (1) provide sufficient proof of policy infringement by taking screenshots of the offer, transaction history, or any related emails or messages (ideally with the specific name or account committing the crime), and (2) submit this proof via email to team@engauthority.com. Please see the Terms and Conditions of Submission for full details (see below).

How will Eng Authority handle your report?

We will begin the investigation within 24 hours. We have two lawyers on retainer for this sole purpose and take these sort of reports extremely seriously. Our legal team has the ability to subpoena for the IP address of users even if it is on pseudo-anonymous platforms like Reddit and Blind for illicit activities such as this. Once we discover the identity of the individual, we prosecute violators to the fullest extent of the law (up to 5 years in jail and a $250,000 USD fine). Your identity will remain anonymous to authorities unless absolutely necessary to prove illicit activities occurred.

Terms of Service - Piracy

Anyone who uses our website or course content has agreed to and must legally comply with our terms of service. This means:

You agree to not share your account credentials with any other person or organization. We reserve the right to terminate your account and permanently ban you, as well as the aforementioned person(s) or organization(s), from Eng Authority should you engage in credential sharing.
You agree not to, and represent and warrant that you will not, reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Web Site, or access to the Web Site for any purposes other than for your internal business purposes.
You understand and acknowledge that the software, code, proprietary methods and systems used to provide the Web Site (“Our Technology”) are: (a) copyrighted by us and/or our licensors under United States and international copyright laws; (b) subject to other intellectual property and proprietary rights and laws; and (c) owned by us or our licensors.

Our Technology may not be copied, modified, reproduced, republished, posted, transmitted, sold, offered for sale, or redistributed in any way without our prior written permission and the prior written permission of our applicable licensors. All users must abide by all copyright notices, information, or restrictions contained in or attached to any of Our Technology.

Terms and Conditions of Report Submission

Thank you for your interest and continued support in upholding Eng Authority's community values. Here are the terms and conditions that must be met in order to receive your reward:

To become eligible, please make sure you meet these basic requirements:

You must explicitly ask to be included in the Eng Authority Bounty Program in your email at the time you make the report,
You must agree to all of these Terms and Conditions,
You must reside in the United States or European Union.

Your report must be complete and accurate, including:

About yourself: your correct and full name, telephone number, email, and preferred contact method. *Please note that your identity will remain confidential to legal authorities unless we are compelled by law to provide it.
About the violator: as much of their identity as you can uncover (e.g. username or real name), specifically what content is being pirated, definite proof of illegal activities (e.g. screenshots), and how you know this. Assuming you are not able to provide the real identity of an illicit party but merely their username on platforms such as Blind or Reddit, your payment will be made after our legal team is successfully able to subpoena for the IP address of the illicit party to pursue further legal action. The illicit party must live within the United States or European Union.
The information you provide must not have been previously known by or reported to Eng Authority before in order to receive a full reward. If you are the second to report, you will receive a $100 token of appreciation. After that, any other submissions about the same report will not be counted.

Eng Authority reserves the absolute right, in our sole judgment, to determine whether your report is reliable and accurate and whether and how to pursue your or any related piracy reports. You agree that you have no right to contest Eng Authority's determination.

If Eng Authority makes the determination to pursue your report, you will be notified, but Eng Authority is not obligated to provide you with any information on the investigation or the outcome.
Throughout the investigation, you must promptly and accurately respond to all inquiries and follow-up questions. You must stand by the details of your report and not contradict it in any material respect.

The decision to pay a reward based on your report and the amount of that award shall be within Eng Authority's sole discretion. A reward may be payable only if Eng Authority pursues an investigation and, as a direct result of the information provided by you, is able to successfully prosecute the individual(s).
